The Twist? We own and operate a state-of-the-art production house. Austin, Texas is the air that we breathe. We love the art, the people, the culture, and embrace the different. We have expertise in all facets of advertising, multi-media, business, and production. We can probably build you a dream production studio...oh wait, we already did!
The History
On May 1, 2012, we opened our doors as an inimitable agency. Collectively, we have over 40 years of experience in the fields of business, production, and multi-media. Born from Conor Chamberlain (CEO) and Jeff Wilkinson’s (COO) passion for music, film and production; we will remain steadfast in supporting and celebrating local art, culture, and business.
In the world of advertising there are the creators, the innovators, and the re-inventors and then there is us; we break the rules…in a professional way of course.

Located in the heart and soul of Austin,Texas; our agency is always in-the-know and turning heads. We’re not saying that we have super model looks but we are saying that we are masters of our craft, in addition to our ridiculous good looks. We provide Creative Services, Production, Marketing Research, Media Buying & Planning and Website & Social Media Implementation & Support.
We have our own way of making moves, The Broken Records Way:
- The Meet: We will meet with you and get to know you on a one-on-one basis.
- The Big Picture: We will recognize and understand what you and your company’s needs are as a whole.
- The Research: We will dig deep into your company, the competition, and the marketplace and identify how we can utilize and monetize this in-depth research in moving your company’s advertising and marketing plan in the right direction.
- The Chalkboard: We will grab the chalk and start brainstorming.
- The Passing of the Torch: We will pass the campaign off to our in-house production studio, who will then turn the vision up to an eleven.
- The Creation: We will bring the chalkboard to life The Broken Records Way.
- The Buy: Once the campaign is in place, we will take you under our wing, we will handle all of the media buying & planning, and we will take care of your company’s advertising and production needs throughout our relationship.
- The Team: We are here to work with you and to highlight your company in the light that it well deserves. We have fun, we make it happen and we are always on your side.

The 3,800² ft production studio features a green screen, floating stage, an isolation booth for voice recording, top-of-the-line gear and an advanced post production control room that creates television and radio ready media.

Nestled in the heart of the city center, Broken Records’ downtown office is accustomed to what is up and coming. In addition to our ninja prowess, we offer design and creative in conjunction with media buying, public relations, social media consultation, web development and account management. While we are new, our fresh and forward outlook on creative, multi-media and production stems from an abundance of industry and network experience.
At the end of the day, we are here to make your company the talk of the town, the next big thing, the cat’s meow, etc. We have the dream team to make this happen, so let’s do lunch and chat about creating a masterpiece together.

Broken Records worked with First Texas Honda on creating the perfect ad to showcase their new store during the Opening Ceremonies of the 2012 Summer Olympics.
